Enroll for Spring Season 2025

This Spring our focus skill is Empathy- the special human superpower that we use to understand our emotions and see the world through other people's eyes. For more information about our Spring focus, please visit the Spring 2025 page. Each class will include our ever-popular community herbal tea time.

Trial classes are available for a small materials fee of $10 per child, or $15 per family and can be taken at any class subject to available space. Discover the fun and wonder of playing outdoors this season, and if you decide to join after your trial, class costs will be prorated. Pre-registration required.

Class Dates/Times

This session will run for 6 weeks commencing the week of April 27 2025. The season end date may be extended if a class needs to be rescheduled due to weather or teacher absence. Decisions about whether it is safe to hold class are determined using local weather guidance and a weather chart at least 90 minutes prior to class, and families will be notified at this time by email and text message. Please be aware that classes are rarely cancelled due to rain, but we may utilize shelter within the park in these cases.

Choose from the following class options (classes must reach minimum enrollment to run):

• Wednesdays 10:15am-11:15am, April 30 - June 4 2025 

• Thursdays 10:15-11:15am, May 1 - June 5 2025

• Fridays 10:15am-11:15am, May 2 - June 6 2025

All classes take place in Roger Williams Park and a precise location is sent in a pre-class email.

Class Costs

*Early Bird Discount ends at midnight Monday April 7, 2025.

One full season explorer aged 1.5 - 8 years = $125 *Early bird discount = $110

Full season family rate (20% discount on sibling enrollment) = $225 *Early bird discount = $195

• Class costs here reflect the 6 week season and are prorated on the enrollment form after the season begins. 

• All siblings of enrolled explorers who are under 18 months at the time of the season start are welcome to attend and do not need to be registered, but please be aware that any individual materials for explorers will not be prepped for them.

• Please be aware that there are no refunds given for missed classes, and that make up classes cannot be guaranteed. However, if a class needs to be rescheduled in the case of extreme weather or other factors outside of the instructor's control, the class will be rescheduled whenever possible.

How to Enroll

To secure your spot in class, please complete the following steps:

1. Please be sure to read the Class Policies & FAQs

2. Complete the registration form below.

3. Make the correct payment according to the class you are enrolling in and the number of explorers. This may be done within three days of completing the registration and can be sent via Venmo (Victoria Griffiths @natureplaywithvicky, last four digits 2370). 

What happens next?

Please note that your place in class is not secure until both a completed registration form AND payment have been received. If you are unable to pay via Venmo please contact me to arrange an alternative. You will receive an enrollment confirmation email within 24 hours of completing both the registration and payment.

Your confirmation email will include any pertinent information about the class, including directions to our meeting spot, and a release of liability waiver for you to print and sign  (this must be completed prior to the first class).
